Workplace

The way work is organised shapes the way the brain functions.

Modern knowledge work requires sustained attention, rapid switching between tasks, continuous information processing and frequent digital communication. At the same time, many working environments provide relatively little movement, uninterrupted concentration or genuine recovery.

Steadroot workshops help employees understand what these conditions ask from the brain and how relatively small changes in behaviour and working structure can influence attention, stress and sustainable performance.

The objective is not to add another list of wellbeing tips. Participants learn the underlying mechanisms so that recommendations make sense and are easier to apply.

Workshop topics

attention, interruption and cognitive load
stress and recovery
movement and cognitive functioning
sustainable performance
behaviour change and habit formation
mental energy during the working day
designing healthier working routines
the interaction between digital environment and attention

Workshops can be tailored to the organisation, audience and working environment.
